Some companies make tobacco tins made out of real aluminum but can be quite pricey. I've recently had great luck using a little snus tin as my on the go tobacco storage. I used to use a pipe pouch but just found it to be awkward to carry and would dry out my tobacco in hours. The snus can is a bit smaller and therefore holds less tobacco but found it keeps it fresh an moist (not airtight but air tight enough) and is a much smaller profile, fits right in the pocket. Just a little PSA.

Don't dip cans usually have a hell of smell to them, granted i've probably only smelled Skoal, little plastic bags work and they are pennies a piece.
They do if you drop your tobacco in it right off the bat. I had to clean mine out with soap and water first.

Been doing it for quite a while.
I carry 3-4 blends that way in my lunchbox at work every day. Tobak doesn’t get crushed like it does in a ziplock.
I write blend on a strip of masking tape, have a bunch of these “labels” stuck inside my tobak cabinet and peel and stick as the contents change.
The tins seal great, and each hold 4-5 medium smokes’ worth.
I also toss them on dash during the day here in AZ for what I call “summer stoving”-this is a space that will heat fast, the tins hold the moisture well.2052BAC5-D851-4D8F-AA25-BF7555FC96B8.jpeg

Beard balm tins work great. They are small, round and screw tight. (Sounds funny when I read the last sentence back)
I also use a version of those. My buddy makes his own balm and givesit out at Christmas. After I started smoking a pipe, I asked and found out the soap supply store he gets them from- 4oz tins for ~$.95 ea. They slip fit, but will keep tobak smokable for a week+ in my lunchbox and truck.
