Maybe it’s the burley, but I just can’t board the vaunted Haunted Bookshop bandwagon. After staring at several tins for some time, I finally got out the old spaghetti press and made a few 2oz, five-day pressed cakes to try and make it more interesting. We shall see…

Good luck and let us know how it turns out! I bought one tin of HB and after trying it various times over the course of 4 years, I threw the rest into the bon fire. It is not for me. Pegasus, on the other hand, is one of the few C&D blends I like and have cellared several pounds.

I mixed some Sutliff Red VA and Stoved VA 50/50 and noticed that pressing it appeared to make it slightly richer and deeper in flavor.
