Presents From the Wife.

We went to visit some family and while we were there I stopped in the local tobacconist's (Williams's in Cleveland, TN). I was only planning on getting some cigars to refill my humidor. My wife was with me and wanted to get me something as a belated Father's Day present. Then she decided to get me an early birthday present as well. So I left with two new Nordings.

I don't know who selected the pipes, you or your wife, but I much approve. I like Nording pipes but these

seem especially well designed. I like the carving on the round shape (apple?) that really gives it presence

and interest. Some Nordings seem a bit churned out, but these are brought together. Some of my favorite

pipes are gifts from my wife. She has a fine eye.

Thanks for all of the nice comments guys. @hawke, I am definitely more please with the wife. Sometimes I think she enjoys the hobby more than me. haha She doesn't smoke, but enjoys picking out pipes and tobaccos for me to smoke around the house.
