McClelland's used to suposibly use some leaf that was pre aged for a period of time and was pretty unique according to those lucky enough to have been able to try it. This might account for the lack of "Match" blends for certain tobacco, although there are Frog Morton replicas out there if you look hard enough.
As for regular "Match" blends most of them are excellent IMO. Have tried about 85% of the ones currently offered at P&C and the only one I wasn't impressed with is Brindley"s Mixture, although I havent had many bowls, it had that typical PG goopy texture and lacked flavor compared to other Match Blends. As for currently available Match blends check out Edgeworth Ready Rubbed, Sugar Barrel, Holiday Mixture, Troost, Sail, etc. For the price they are VERY good IMO.
