Two large quakes hit in 12 hours, the first being reported as a 7.8 in Turkey, early death count is at 1500 and sure to rise.

My brother works in Antalya (not affected by the quakes), but was closely connected to one Pastor Hakan from a region which was affected. He sent me this picture and update this morning:

"Pastor Hakan and his wife Pola passed away today. Just found out they pulled their son from the wreckage, but this couple didn’t make it."

There is also a winter snow storm coming. Any surviors and those displaced may freeze.
