Poul Hansen pipe find...

Went back to the antique store to purchase the Kirsten pipe. My memory of the price was wrong...it was $50, not $19. Too much for me to spend on something I know nothing about.
Instead, I bought this Poul Hansen pipe. It is stamped HANSEN BRIAR HANDMADE and MADE IN DENMARK stamped vertically. Length: approx. 6", weight: 2.2oz/62g, bowl height: 3 1/4", chamber depth: 2 1/2".

What a stunner! $45 is, what, about 35 quid here in the UK. That's as much of a bargain as it is a beauty.

Kirsten pipes usually go for upwards of $80 on ePay, so that price wasn't too out of line. As for the Poul Hansen, that's a very good price. I have a few Poul Hansen pipes, and they are good smokers.
