Smoking some Penzance as I write this, and I'm still not that impressed with it. I'm thinking I enjoy blends with just Virginias and a heavy dose of latakia, a lot more. Like SG Commonwealth or GH Mixture 12. Don't really like the orientals that much.

It's def not everyone's type. Have you tried Bohemian Scandal or ravens wing?

SG's Bothy Flake has really gripped my tastesbuds as of late. Did notice though that my jarred Penzance has developed a nice bloom. May respark my interest in acquiring more.

Penzance is good aged, it's ok fresh, the biggest blend that I'm surprised to not hear more about is pelican....did see that bohemian scandal on pipestuds site almost pulled a trigger haha.

Why? Admittedly Penzance threads pop up ad-nauseam on a regular basis, but if you’re not interested in Penzance and all of its hype (such as myself) then simply move along to a thread that does. Pretty simple eh? :wink:
