I think that is the site that got hacked and requires you to re-register. Someone else here may know for sure.

The site that got hacked and, now that it is back up and running, requires all former members to re-register is the UK-based Smokers' Forum (http://www.smokersforums.co.uk/forum.php).

I belong to both and have no problem with the pipesmokersforum.com. I am known as upinsmoke over there. I prefer this site though. Less censorship of my paintings, and more open overall. And honestly, I think the average IQ of the members here is higher. But there are some good guys there as well.

The SmokersForums.uk was the one that was hacked and rebuilt, requiring a new registation. As far as I know, the PipeSmokersForums ( http://pipesmokersforum.com/community/ ) has had no issues.

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@pipesmokersforum.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Any idea ?

I gave up on that site about a year ago. One day poof - I cannot login anymore and no reason why other than I get the internal server error posted above. Just tried it before posting and the same error is still staring at me in the face.

@Peteguy, @ronzi83 and @didimauw, did you all ever get back in to PSF?
Does anyone know what would cause that "Internal Server Error" message from Pipe Smokers Forum?

I got that too. Registered then my account was simply not there. Something related to a picky admin?

From what I can tell, the error - the Internal Server Error at PSF - is definitely server side, meaning it's not the user's fault. Further reading seems to point to a corrupted user's account as the reason/cause. For example, a change to your account, like a new profile pic, might trigger the corruption. That is why is does not impact everyone. It's up to the admin to fix it. I do not think it's an easy fix, so that might be why the admins don't repair the corrupted users accounts. This is just my guess, mind you.
