After seeing innumerable attempts to do a forum-wide Zoom chat peter out, I have decided to take the reins myself. This IPSD, Thursday, February 20 starting at 1pm PST, any and all forum members (please don't make me regret this policy) are welcome to join in this blessed convergence of sarcastic humor, bad puns, good-natured ribbing, and the expected cathartic STG lambasting. Basically, all the normal stuff you lousy punks do on the forum all the time (don't get all huffy, I gleefully include myself in this grouping, whether you like it or not). The chat will last anywhere from three seconds to three hours, depending on a variety of factors that my latest tarot reading has insisted I refrain from disclosing.
All I ask is that you comply with three basic requests:
1) Include your PM screen name in your Zoom display name.
2) No religion or politics.
3) Please be fully dressed from the solar plexus area down, at the very least.
What I'm saying is, IPSD is not a day for folks who may or may not be forum members to be pontificating on the ins and outs of Zoroastrianism in the nude. We have the Secret Santa thread for such pursuits.
I've given you all about a month and a half to mentally and socially prepare for what has got to be the most exciting occurrence in the pipe world since P&C changed their logo's appearance circa 2017. I'll give occasional reminders on here as the day draws ever nearer. Please feel free to comment on this thread, but please submit all grievances up to and including death threats by PM only. I don't want to appear crass, as it could adversely impact meeting turnout.
