We just had a new listing submitted to our Pipe Store Locator. Even though the listing is new for us, Paul's Pipe Shop has been around for 82 years, and the owner Paul T. Spaniola is still smoking his pipe at 98 years old!
How cool is that?
I believe we can say with confidence that pipe smoking certainly hasn't shortened Paul's life.
We may even wonder if it has increased his lifespan since pipe smoking usually helps one slow down and relax.
Here's his listing, and you can click through from there to his website. When you go to the listing look on the right side of the screen to see the ton of stuff he carries in both pipes and tobaccos.

I am sure it would be a great interview to read. Bob would be the lucky devil to get to do the interview.

A recent question here in the forum was: what are some of the differences between what pipe maintenance was like in the "old days" compared to the comparatively sophisticated techniques of the modern pipe smoker?

In all those years of smoking, what was his favorite tobacco?

What was his favorite pipe ?

What does he think of the blends we have today versus the great blends of the past?

What does he smoke these days ? Tobacco and Pipe

Actually, the B&M here in Bentonville, Romeo's Uptown Pipe & Tobacco, gets most of their pipes from Paul in Michigan. The owner, Frank Romeo, is always giving the speech on the Paul's Cayuga pipe line oil curing process or whatever. He even has a picture of Paul hanging up in the store.
