Dear PipesMagazine.com Member,
I would like to personally invite you to participate in our first annual Pipe Smoker Survey.
Your participation in this survey will help improve products and services offered by pipe and tobacco makers.
We'd like to know your thoughts on different aspects of pipes and tobaccos. Even if you just started smoking a pipe yesterday - Your Opinion Counts!
We need new pipe smokers and experienced pipe smokers to take the survey.
Below is a link to the online survey. Your responses will be kept completely confidential. The survey is web-based and conducted through a third party vendor. Your name will not be attached to any results, and to ensure your anonymity we will not report any results that have less than three respondents. The survey is user-friendly and you should be able to complete it within 15-20 minutes or less.

Done... That survey was very through! the only problem is on the question where it asked if you have ever read these magazines, there is no option to say "none" it makes you pick one even if you have never read that magazine.

I fixed the magazines question and added none as an option.
I will report on some of the data publicly. I will exclude which other websites and magazines Simon partakes of. ;-)

There were a couple other push-me, pull-you kind of questions.

All in all, not a bad survey at all.

How long did it take you guys to complete it?
Was I right on 15 - 20 mins, or was it longer?
I timed myself at 16 mins, but I was already familiar with the questions.

I don't think it was more than 5 - 10 minutes. Which is always a nice surprise when filling out a survey that tells you it will take longer.

Mine wasn't on there either, but I just answered with the closest industry.
However; I only see dead people occasionally.

I'm a Purchasing, Inventory Control and Material Marshaling Manager.

It's not uncommon for me to spend more money in a week than I will make in my lifetime.

Wow that is a large Title. Sounds somewhat intresting, I always love spending other peoples money.

10 minutes was about right although I wish that on many of the questions there was an option like, haven't tried yet or something similar, since I had to put that I NEVER smoke ropes, but that's because I just haven't had the opportunity.

Got it and it took maybe 10 minutes to complete. I am with lordnoble on some of the tobacco options like smoking ropes. But a very good survey. Always cool to see what the other guys do in real life.
