In April I bought three pipes at the TAPS pipe show, a Jerry Perry straight panel billiard Mountain Laurel;
an unfinished Savenelli panel billiard; and a OD corn cob pipe. I'm thinking of breaking in the Mountain
Laurel with CH, the Savenelli with Lane's Burley Without Bite, and the OD cob with Granger. I'm looking for
fairly dry no-ghost blends. Anyone have other suggestions? I also have on hand some McClelland Va. Red
Cake, some Tinder Box Bulkan; Sir Walter Raleigh; Captain Black; and CD Pegasus, among a number of others.
I'd like to use what's open and not unopened tins, for breaking in the pipes. (I also bought a small OD cob,
but I've already started that one with Triple Play.)
