Hey guys, there's a new show in town ... kind of new, in its 2nd year in Las Vegas ...

Bubba, there is a Chicago show and Kansas City show, but they already passed.

Yeah I will be going to all the shows around Oklahoma next year!
Edited for Jeremiah being an idiot: I will also be at the 23rd annual Gateway Area Pipe Show and Swap next year.
St. Louis = Gateway. Duh!

This year's Kansas City show was great. I was short of time and only got to spend a few hours there but loved it all. The high point, for me, was a pipe carving contest that included many of the counry's best carvers. The top 7 were put into a 7 Day Set and raffled off. $25 for a chance to win a set of pipes that would have retailed for at least $5,000, if not more.

I'm going to plan on it. I've never been to a show like this and it looks great. Besides, it's in Vegas and how much trouble can one get into there.

It's just a small town in the desert with not much to offer, right??? Do stay and help the local economy as much as you can.

I do hope a lot of you can get in for this one. It really seems that they are trying to improve it from last year's first show. Wish I had gone to it just to see what the difference would be.

Airfares to Vegas are usually pretty cheap compared to other destinations too.
