I want to buy another pipe at about 40-65 pounds (65-105 dollars) and would love some recommendations, no particular style, just any pipes you deem beautiful. The budget is flexible as well, so if it's slightly over, just post it any way :D

You have a choise of quite a few Peterson types for that amount, all great smokers, choose a straight a bent a fish tail or a P-lip, can't go wrong with them.

mp31guitar, I'm not looking for anything specific, just something that really takes my fancy. I know I'm not exactly being very helpful by not specifying :D

Savinelli has a wonderful line called Caramella that has a number of different shapes and it's around $100 on most sites I believe.
Peterson is another good brand. I have three of their lower end Aran line (around $65 per pipe) and I love them. I'm a huge fan of the p-lip which is typically a love or hate relaitonship. Peterson has many different stains and shapes and ofcourse their System pipes which I hear smoke very well.
My advice would be to checkout some of the sponsor sites at the left and just browse through their selections. Those online stores have great selections and good prices and I haven't heard of anyone having major problems with them.

if you like an acrylic stem i'd say look at stanwell. i like the looks of their models 30, 86 and 200. not sure why but i like the real wide stem and 1/4 bent or whatever fraction of bent it is. if more a fan of vulcanite then savinelli.

That's a good first step!

Smoking pipes has a Pipe Locator function. Various fields can be selected, one of them being price ranges.

Give that a whirl to get some ideas, it's very handy!

I highly recommend a new or estate pipe from SmokingPipes.com. My estate Ashton was like new, at half the price of new.
Here is a lovely Ascorti Business for $85:

A Becker billiard also at $85:

My personal favorite of the Italian estates currently listed, and looks like a steal at $55, this Savinelli with a Cumberland stem, lovely!:

If an English pipe is more to your fancy:
A lovely GBD billiard for $80:

A Sasieni billiard for $50 that has a lot of character:

SmokingPipe.com estates are ready to smoke, they've been cleaned and sanitized. I generally run a cleaner with alcohol through the stem, but that is probably not necessary. You can get cheaper estate pipes on Ebay, but could get stuck with a stinker, because you just won't know what to look for or avoid. You can pretty much be assured, if using a board sponsor to buy an estate, you will get a good pipe and fair deal
If an estate pipe doesn't work for you, a new Stanwell, Savinelli or Peterson can be had in that price range.

Don't spend too much on your first pipe, your tastes will evolve fast.
Don't be afraid to run a choice across the board, you'll get some good, honest feedback.

I would recommend looking at Savinellis or Petersons. Those are the favorites in my collection. The recommendation for the Bing's Favorite is a good one as I have one of those and like it a lot. Be aware, though, that with its' thin bowl walls it tends to smoke hotter than other pipes with thicker walls.

Since you are presumably English, buy English: check out Invicta Briars. Some good looking pipes in your price range.

I have a couple of Petersons (found out I don't like the p-tip) and a couple of Savinelli's....but my last pipe purchase was a Boswell Rhodesian similar to this one and it's my absolute favorite pipe. I just enjoy holding it even when it's not lit.

BRIGHAM pipes!!! They are an excellent choice for the money spent. Various finishes with more styles. and they offer a nice cool, dry smoke because of their patented rock maple filtration system.

You should be able to get a Stanwell at that money - either a great estate or perhaps a new pipe. Can't go wrong with a Stanwell.

I'll have to agree with Cyndi: I've never had a bad Savinelli -- and I own quite a few of them.
