Was playing with the wife's camera tonight and took a few shots of a couple of my pipes. Here is the first - my Grant Batson tormented Blowfish:

And here is the second, my JT Cooke Bent Dublin:

Peck, that blowfish is awesome. I love the look, the shape... the polaroidy/instagramy style of the shots don't hurt the look either. I agree, the first shot of the blowfish is the better of the two.
Nice pipes sir.

Sure as hell beats my cell phone pics! The tin stands out for me, it was my Grandfather's blend. I'm visiting in 2weeks and he said he has some tins kicking around somewhere.

Really nice looking pics; your wife must have a nice camera.
My wife is a photographer so she has a few fancy cameras and a couple of cases with umpteen lenses. She handed me the lense and said "use this one" and so I did.

I'm thinking she did more than that. The Redhead's a photographer too and that lighting was set up by a pro
Nope. Actually the Batson Blowfish pick is only natural light. The pipe is laying on the hardwood floor by the window in my man cave. So that is just natural light coming through the window. The Cook is just sitting on the granite countertop of my bar, with the under cabinet valence light shining down on it. I didn't use any of the wife's studio lights, but I may try them this weekend.

No need for studio lights peck unless you will be setting them in a soft box with a white backdrop to give the appearance of floating, some of the best lighting for photos is natural unfiltered lighting. There are certain sweet spots for natural lighting and it varies with the back drop chosen and your pipes fit well with their back drops and the lighting, nice work and very nice pipes.

I'm in love with that Blowfish... wow. That's the first pipe in that style I've ever taken a shining to. How can I get one similar? Great photos too.
