I using the Zarnicky method for packing pipe. Zarnicky developed method with husband Chuckes several years ago. (see photo)

Zarnicky say "Chuckles, fill my pipe." If he does good job, I pat his head. He does very good job. That's why he's bald.
The Method:
The Zarnicky method uses a 3 finger pinch approach. If Chuckles do bad job, I pinch his arm with 3 fingers and twist. After several month of practice he doing wonderful job. Zarnicky method takes a bit of practice. I used to use the slap method for packing pipe but Chuckles get too many bruises on left side of face. (Zarnicky right-handed).
If you not married, try the Frank Method.

Happy Puffing,

Anichka Zarnicky

P.S. Has anyone smoked an Al Pascià Curvy reverse calabash? I usually smoke a pipe with a 9 or 6mm charcoal filter. Does the Curvy give a cool smoke?

Cool! Great method.

Chuckles is handsome and great, but why not a Canadian actor such as John Candy or someone a bit more alive such as Rick Moranis?

I have a Big Ben Barbados pipe, which has been considered similar to the Curvy in other threads on this forum.

I enjoy the Barbados very much, but only received it recently. The chamber is larger than I anticipated and the rim around the bowl is nominal, neither of which is necessarily a bad thing. It provides a cool smoke with a decently open draw.

Also, I enjoy your posts and sense of humor.

Does Chuckles get to smoke too or does he only do the pipe maintenance?
