There were a number of these clubs in the past, but I'm not aware of any now. Most were run by the larger tobacconists as a way to keep their regular customers more involved. Flanative mentioned Wally Frank, I think his Pipe of The Month Club was the largest and longest running. Edwards and The Tinder Box also had similar clubs and there were quite a few smaller ones. These shops all had pretty extensive lines of house pipes that were supplied by outside manufacturers and stamped with the shop's logo instead of the manufacturer's logo. Most of these were well-made pipes from the better pipe companies. Savinelli still does this for a lot of shops. Some are stamped with both names, some with just the shop name.
