Our featured interview on tonight's Pipes Magazine Radio Show is with pipe maker Walt Hettinger. He started smoking a pipe in 1968, quit in 1995, and resumed in 2015. Walt was a pipe maker in Baltimore in the late 1960s and early 70s and worked out of Jay's Smoke Shop. When he retired from Emergency Medicine in 2015, he started making pipes again. Most of his pipes are in the Danish freehand style.
