Our Featured Interview on The Pipes Magazine Radio Show tonight is with pipe maker Mark Tinsky. Mark has been making pipes for 40-years. He started making pipes part time for a pipe shop during his college days, and then he stared his own company, American Pipe Co. in 1978 and sold them door-to-door to retail tobacconists. In "Pipe Parts" Brian will discuss different packing methods for different cuts of pipe tobacco.

Mark is a great guy, had a few emails with him when I was considering the purchase of a ASPC pipe, found out it was one of the last pipes Curt Rollar made with ASPC.

I have had several Tinskys. All of them smoked superbly. 3 were stolen in a very strange burglary. The one I have left was a commissioned small pot.
