I just purchased this pipe. Wasn't expensive. Wondering if anyone knows anything about it. I cant find any info expect the brand is a store in Germany that sells all kinds of pipes and cigars. Says Pfeifen Huber Extra Briar 90 Estate. Wondering what it's worth, are they good smokers, and anything else you can add, history of it and what not. And yes there are pics of the inside of the bowl, it was fine. I didn't feel it added anything to help by posting them. Thanks.s-l400 (4).jpgs-l400 (3).jpg

Are the newer ones worth more? And I don't know what the stem is.
Rub the stem with your thumb until it's warm. If it smells like hot rubber, it's vulcanite.

The newer ones just reflect modern cost. Likely in unused condition, yours would have been the same sans the Savinelli stamp.

A beginner hobbyist would like to get support from some pipes. The first is Astleys 109 from Jeremy. I haven't found a similar one, I'm also interested in that silver stamp, and all other information about that pipe 🙏20230116_191727.jpg20230116_195354.jpg

You might want a new thread. Highjacking someone's thread isn't polite, not that I usually care :) Markings on the silver indicate it's a sterling, "925". The others one is some type of Hallmark, possibly. But it doesn't look like typical British/Irish Hallmark.
