Pipe Engraving

I am new to the forum but a seven year pipe smoker; I wanted to ask if anyone knew of a reputed laser engraver for pipes that could be done? I have three smoking pipes and would love to personalize them a bit with a single design or symbol added to the pipe, location of my choice.
I appreciate this may be blasphemous to some, but I would like to make a pipe my own as much as I would with a fountain pen.
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Any trophy shop should be able to get it done for ya. Find an old school one. They are generally more experienced in carving and such on odd surfaces and materials.

Seems like a good idea. Many pipes are gifted to people or bought for special occasions. I just

bought a pipe with money I received for a publication of my work. This might diminish the value

of a pipe as an estate pipe, but in some circumstances, it might increase the interest and value.

Few people purchase pipes for their increasing value anyway. I really appreciate it when carvers

put the year of the pipe on the stem; it's a real touch stone.

Boswell's got a brand new laser engraver just recently.

On their site they say $10 charge for initials.

Since they are known for their great customer care.

I think they could work on your request too.
