Pipe Club of London - Any members here?

Andy Stewart is a long time member the PCOL. For what it's worth, our local pipe club, The Lehigh Valley Pipe Club, in Pennsylvania is honored to be affiliated with the London club. They also have a wonderful web site.

I attended their meeting last month. Beautiful smoking room, upstairs at James J. Fox on St. James Street. Decent bunch of chaps, Port offered around. I could stay for only an hour, but it was a pleasant hour.

I'm an "e-member", as I don't live in the UK. But I've attended one of their meetings, and I had a lovely time. Very nice people, cool smoking room. I highly recommend it.

Hi beerandbaccy. Thank you for your interest in the Pipe Club of London and sorry for the delay in responding! I'm on the Committee of PCOL and would be delighted to welcome you to a meeting. The Club meets twice-monthly - once during the week in Town at JJ Fox in St James, and once during the day on a Saturday at a pub in Horndon-on-the-Hill in Essex. Horndon actually isn't far from London by train or car. If you need picking up from a train station, there's always someone happy to help.
PCOL has about 300 members around the world; we usually get about 20-25 members at each meeting, plus a few visitors. We are very proud of our link to the Lehigh Valley Pipe Club and hope that members from both Clubs will visit one another's meetings in the coming year.
Please PM me for more details and I'll also fill you in on some of the events planned for the near future.
