I recently bought an estate pipe from e-bay, and as with all of the pipes that I acquire, I like to look up the history of the pipe maker/makers/lineage (boredom meets curiosity). Anyway, the latest one simply reads Collins on the top of the shank and Made in London England 207 on the bottom with a "C" on the top of stem. It's a pretty nice Canadian style pipe with a large apple bowl but the only thing I can find about it is that it could be related to the St. Louis pipe-maker, Bill Collins, but he marked his Jost.

Google didn't produce much of anything, so I thought I would ask some of the more experienced pipe buffs out there.

I wonder if it might be a house pipe for Jost's shop, but instead of being carved by Collins, it was made elsewhere and sold through the store :?:.

Hope this helps.
