Not so sure if this a topic but rather a big thank you to Pipes Magazine. I've been away for awhile so it was a big treat to log on and find not one but two photo layouts of "Pipe Babes" As any pipe smoker will tell you most of us are independant slow to follow the crowd type of thinkers. But these two beautiful ladies, Violet and Carmen, have some how persuaded me to try Seven Seas Royal. Funny how that works? Anyway to both of you ladies a large thank you and to pipes magazine please keep up the good work. P.S. Have you ever thought about Best Pipe Babe of the year award and layout?

My personal opinion on that is it's pretty darn subjective. As long as Kevin keeps adding new Pipe Babes, we're living in a golden age. :D
I don't know what his recruitment process is, but maybe he could entertain requests for either another photo shoot with a favorite or to be on the lookout for a pipe babe who meets specific criteria. Like redheads. Kevin, y'ain't got no redheads yet!

As long as Kevin keeps finding these lovely ladies I'm happy whether there is a babe of the year or not!

Thanks for the comments and compliments guys. You should definitely try 7 Seas. All three versions are very good, plus Mac Baren helped pay for those shoots, so they might not exist for your enjoyment without Mac Baren's support. It's nice to support them back.
As to the absence of any redheads, I have been strenuously trying to correct that, but to no avail. Doubling my frustration is that I chose a redhead to shoot. Sample photos were sent and approved. I contracted and paid for the shoot in advance as part of negotiating a better price.
They neglected to tell me that the model changed her hair color to black, and proceeded with the shoot and blew the money on something I didn't want. The whole shoot was a disaster.
Not only had her hair color changed, but she must have been having a very bad day. The beautiful smile and gleam in her eyes that was in the test shots was absent, along with the red hair.
I am tossing the entire shoot as a loss.
To end on a more up-beat note, there are several more excellent shoots to come.
I'm glad you appreciate them, and remember to try 7 Seas!

Oh, man. That's gotta hurt.

remember to try 7 Seas!

It's very near the top of the list. Judging from the positive reactions and recommendations for the blend around here, it's not a hard sell. Now if they were brought to you by "Grandma Flamethrower's Special Cherry Floorsweepings", I'd say "Thanks for the pictures, but I'll pass..."
