I do enjoy my pipe during and when a job is finished. To sit back and inspect the project, the Blue Ridge pipe and a light mixture of odds and end "work tobacco". This is the one I picked up a couple weeks ago. Really is a nice smoker!

Very cool... as a fellow woodworker I too love to smoke while I work.
On a side note... a couple of years back I was thinking about getting into the coffin making business... did all sorts of research on it but never did anything with it... I guess I just love struggling with the custom furniture and competing with the Chinese! ... but I digress!
Very cool, picture.

Very nice! The coffin is work of art! The pipe looks good too. I told my wife that when I die all I want is a Viking longboat on a lake or sea. With me a sword across my chest and the heads of my enemies at my feet. Light it on fire and push me out. She gave me a funny look and said she would do what she could, LOL!! Happy smokes!

How about a used, beat-up Boston Whaler, ten gallons of gasoline and a kitchen utensil set? Not quite as glamorous, but I hate to see fine wooden craft go up in smoke....

Many years ago I worked as in undertaker (had my own business) and I am always puzzled how different our coffins look from yours. This one of yours looks fantastic!

Short answer is shape, how it is made, the words coffin and casket are interchangeable, today casket sounds nicer. Our religion likes the top to be completely removed during the service. I like making toe pinchers, either mitered sides or bent sides as in the photo. A lot of tobacco get burnt during construction. Eco-green coffins are fun also. Very time consuming.

stvalentine-I have helped pallbearer a few that were almost more than I could hold. And thank you for the praise!

I smoke just outside the back door of the shop when the boss is around.
When he isn't, I often smoke while leaning over the front end of a car (never inside the car or standing next to an open window).
I often use my pipe to help me think though a tough problem or when reading wiring schematics/technical documents.

No, I am Eastern Orthodox Christian, same Divine Liturgy as the Greek, Romanians, Ukrainians, Armenians, and Russian Orthodox. I'm a convert from Methodist, my wife is a cradle Orthodox. I have not tasted Lakelands. Yes, work out of my home. Don't work as hard when the wife isn't home, more smoke less work. Life is great! You are correct, a pipe does help to think through work problems. I will confess that making preemie and stillborn burial containers total breaks my heart and tears fall. (never a charge for these) Enough, time to light up some Virginia #1.

Cremation seems to be getting popular. Both my parents (80 years old) want that. So do I. That or a pyramid.
