I hsve been smoking a pipe off and on for some time now and finally decided to make my own storage cabinet. Originally I thought of an apothecary cabinet but found it was very expensive. I thought back to my elementary school days at the library trying to find the book I wanted in the library catalog. I found those are difficult to come by and can be expensive, especially when some sellers attach the word "vintage" to it.

I make custom knives, so I have a few tools at my disposal and figured I should just make my own.

Of course finding plans specifically for pipe and tobacco storage proved to be a challenge but I did find this set and am going to build it.

Not sure what wood I am going to use, maybe lacewood or snakewood, perhaps even cocobolo or desert ironwood.
Progress begins soon and will post pictures/updates if anyone wishes to see. :puffpipe:

Welcome to the forum!
Thats a very cool looking plan for a pipe cabinet. Be careful if you choose to go with lace wood though, the dust is quite toxic.
