Finally had to break down and hook up the plow to clean up the driveway today. We got 4-5 inches of snow yesterday/last night, now it is 30 and raining and the 3 day forecast is showing below zero temps for a few days. I usually like to pack in a good base to plow the first heavy snow but the tracks would have been all frozen and the driveway would have been a rough one for the next few months so I loaded up a bowl of Granger and started pushing.

Good luck with that job; it can be tough work. I thought your title was referring to a new pub somewhere. Pipe & Plow would be a cool name. Do you mind if I copyright it? :puffy:

The only plow I've seen was watching a mule ass so he would make a straight row. Grandpa hated crooked rows, whipped my Dad with a Trace train because of crooked row, you won't catch me making a crooked row.

I smoked my first pipe during a harsh Ohio winter. Smoking in the snow brings back all the nostalgia. It is my personal favorite, despite the drawbacks of piping outside in the winter.

Well Kent,

At least you are taking it all in stride, what else is there to do. We've been fortunate so far here in New England with just a dusting here and there. Not looking forward to what's to come. Grrrrrr.
@Bradley,

That's a tough way to learn plowing a straight row!!! Hope your Dad wasn't as hard on You.
