Starting to Get Obsessed

Lately, I have been getting pimples on the inside of my cheeks. They don't cause any discomfort, and usually disappear in a couple of days, to be replaced by new ones in slightly different locations. Could these be caused by smoking? I have smoked for many years, and didn't notice them before.

From what I've been told if it goes away within a few days it is nothing to worry about (from a cancer standpoint) but that was in reference to the tongue. My thoughts: Go to the Doctor/Dentist and inquire. Nothing you will receive here will be even close to worth the assurance of a professional.

Might cost a bit of money, but it will cost far less than ignoring something that could be potentially serious based on the advice/opinion of a bunch of forum nitwits.

As with any question posed on the internet, you are only going to get a bunch of different answers that range from "It's nothing to worry about." to "You're totally doomed." and will have you yo-yo-ing back and forth between reassurance and sheer terror. I'd say see someone who's education, training, and liability influence their diagnosis.

Just wondering if anybody else here had the same problem.
I get them occasionally on the back of the roof of my mouth. they began showing up after i had a UPPP surgery and 1/3 of my soft palate removed. i thought it was surgery-related. but notice they occur more often when i'm ingesting a lot of acidity. I can feel them with my tongue... and usually just scrape them away so they don't annoy.

Can't go to a doctor or dentist, things are still locked down here!
Yes. My smoking is on weekends only, and not all weekends. It's quite hard to maintain, I basically do have withdrawals on Monday. However, I'm doing it because you basically have to have (nearly) an emergency to see a doc.
Here in Ohio medical stuff is opening more freely and things will be fairly normal on that front in a month or three.

I've never gotten "pimples" inside my mouth, but I get canker sores a lot inside my bottom lip from my canine tooth. I think it's from smoking, based on how my lips touch my teeth either with a cigarette or my pipe . She's a sharp one.
