As an aside, I was looking at last years Christmas Petersons that are still available to buy over here in the UK. I noticed that in America they had a copper covered nickel ferrule but in England they are solid silver.
I wonder why that was?

Yeah, I don’t know. I love the look of copper, but I would’ve preferred solid copper to plating or copper wash.

cheeky bastards basically the same as last years with a black bowl...I'm starting to rethink collecting one from every year...

Definitely like 2013 the best.
The 2015 & 2016 are my favourites. I was looking at getting a 2016 from Italy (can't get them in England anymore) but it costs over a £130 with p&p☹️.

The last 3 years have all been quite similar, I wish they would mix it up like they used to. Still a lovely looking pipe this year though.
