Have Three more pipes to carve into leather. Than working on the back ground.

I have not decided to paint the pipes or not. Need to carve one on a scrap

and paint to see what it will look like.

Thats a hobojoe original there. I say paint them if you have some natural colors. Well you know most pipes are stained with leather dye anyway.

Well, After i do the background,I will see what happens.

I use Model Plane Paint on other things. Can blend to change colors.

Tried burning on another work but it looked Goofy.

Very nice job, Is all your designs on the belt freehand? Or do you have something to trace them out with. Either way, You do excellent work. :puffy:

Throwryuken--- Next time I see my son, I will find out. He's 40 but that don't mater.

I like the natural look in leather--i.e. no paint or loud colors. Looks too gaudy. That would be a belt to wear to the pipe club meeting. I wish there was one in north Houston.

Coolness, Joe. I'm partial to oxblood because I have a pair of 15 year old Doc Martens it would match. Got a pair of cowboy boots that color, too.
