Great! Scallops and broiled (?) fish on rice with broccoli. That should get your taste buds tuned up again. A little white wine to wash it down.

We had a simple fresh tomato sauce over bucatini with Alamo Malbec (red) with some red pepper flakes in the sauce. I think the tomatoes came from Georgia; I don't think we have them yet in N.C. Grated Parmigiana and basil on top. My wife is the chef. I just hand her wooden spoons and grate the cheese.

I feel I say this on all your foodie posts, but I wish I could cook food like that! Looks awesome! The kids and the wife wouldn’t touch it though. Oh well. Smoked chicken for us tonight. Made pulled chicken sammies with all the trimmings. Turned mighty tasty, but I gotta come eat at your place!

The surf part looks sooooooo good, that salmon omg. Good to see your taste come back. I suspect I've had covid last December (without much other complaints than everything tasted like shit) and I must say there was a plus for me, somehow my palette got reset and I was able to taste a lot more nuances in almost everything.

Great news! Took me a couple weeks until everything didn’t taste like crap. When people say they lost their taste i always thought they meant they tasted nothing, when i got that’s when i realized what losing your taste actually meant ?

That is really GREAT news.
I hope your senses keep improving day-by-day.

Love your posts on the meals you cook. They always look scrumptious.

Food presentation is not a forte of mine, so you will seldom see my culinary achievements ?
