Picked up a cool old clay.

Got this clay of the bay and it came in today. Overall in good shape. No idea how old it is but i love the shape and color.
From my understanding clays don't color like meerschaum pipes do so I'm kind of curious how it was colored. Once I have it cleaned and see how it feels in the mouth I may bend the stem a bit more.

Thanks Banjo! This ended up being a nasty little bugger. Probably 70 pipe cleaners and that included a retort. It cleaned up real nice though. Now to decide which tobacco to break it in with.
