Notice the hollowed out shank and the cup at the pipe end of the stem. The cup catches moisture and the pipe smokes very well. You have to cool it before cleaning, and clean after every smoke.

Is that one of the "reverse calabash" pipes mentioned a fee weeks ago on the forum? It reminds me of the Gee Bee racing 'plane! :)

Congrats foggy! These reverse calabash designs do indeed provide for a different smoke. I like em because you can smoke bowls back to back, and can even clean mid-smoke, like a military mount, if need be. I'm looking for one in the Radice rind finish, but they go fast.

Kashmir: These are great, get one if you can. I got this one last week. They sent it by UPS from Italy for $10 and it was here next day. There were 5-6 of them for sale on the site. I mentioned it here, and they were sold or reserved very quickly. Don't open it when it is hot (unlike the Peterson army spigots). It is too tight and eventually something will break. But it will take a thick Long's pipecleaner during the smoke.

I keep missing them too. This is a sure-fire winner because it seems that all smokers would like to have

at least one in the rack.
