August's Morley's meeting will be early, being the 2nd rather than the 3rd Thursday. Doors open at 6:30 although the meeting's 'formal' start is 7:00pm. Actually, since we have no agenda, folks drift in and out all evening but we always have a great time with wonderful conversations (never any arguments), very good (though slow) dinners and sandwiches prepared to order, a full bar, service by our pipe smoking wench Courtney, and lots of interesting tobaccos that is freely shared. Woodsroad will no doubt bring all of the new offerings from Standard Tobacco Company of Pennsylvania, and they have all gone through a vetting development process involving several pipe clubs and pipesters from around the world to recreate Warhorse, John Cottons (No.1 Mild, Nos. 1 & 2 Medium, and Smyrna) and Bengal Slices. My Top200 Cellar is under considerable pressure since I have exceeded my quota and am having to excruciatingly decide what favorites to demote out of the Cellar. Now I have to decide which 5 blends get the boot to make room for the STPs.
