Philly's Morley's PC Thursday 17July 7:00pm

Next week is our next meeting, at the Pen & Pencil as always. I received the box of 2 new prototype blends from Ted Swearingen at SP/Laudisi. We at Morley's and the Raleigh PC are going through a testing protocol to evaluate and provide feedback. William Serad will be documenting the project for an article in P&T Magazine. So bring your test pipes - you may want to bring an extra number of pipes to run controls. I will pop a tin of each to air them out, so you can try the new blends freshly popped vs. aired out a few days. Should I do a preview to suggest blends to bring for comparison? Or would that bias your evaluations?

Sam told me that your Nording will be there. Sam's favorite pipe is another Nording, so you may have to wrestle him to get yours back. lol
Sam - we previewed the new C&D blends at the NYPC BBQ and puff event, and had fabulous weather. One harbors Latakia; the other is an aromatic.

Looking forward to tasting these with a clean palate. I passed on them at the BBQ..to many competing flavors had already passed my lips.

Have fun boys, wish I could be there. On a somewhat related note, the customer I was working for in NJ, is signing a few more statements of work for my company's services. I may be out there on occasion the coming months. I'll keep the Morley's and Lehigh Valley PC dates in mind while booking my travel. :D

As a guide to scheduling, Morley's generally is the 3rd Wednesday or Thursday of each month. LVPC is the last Monday. Holidays sometimes junk up our careful planning -

Looking forward though to when you do make our meetings.
