Hey guys,

Picked up some Connemara black and only smoked two bowls so far. First one was meh, second one seemed a bit better. The cherry for me isn't over powering. But I've been enjoying a B&M blend that's black cav and cut cake Burley and it's quite good. I was thinking of adding a bit of the Connemara to see what I come up with.
Have any of you mixed the Connemara with another tobacco?

Mikeysmokes, I have never even heard of this blend. It definitely isn’t talked about much here. But, I never hesitate to blend an aromatic with non-aromatics. I especially like to add some cigar leaf to a vanilla for a nicotine punch and for “mouth feel.” Cigar smoke is oilier and heavier, so it’s always my first thought as a mixer for aros. Hopefully, someone who knows this blend better will speak up.

Ha.... Probably because it's Peterson's, not Patterson's. I suppose that's what I get for posting from my phone.

I'm not much of a cherry flavor fan, but burley improves many blends, evens out the burn and gives a little nicotine and makes things more tobacco forward, all good.
