Peterson Hyde Park?

I don't smoke it very often but like to keep a tin open................went to re-order and it looks like it's gone!

Anything similar?.............I think it was made by GH if I remember correctly.

What are the base, condiments, and flavoring if any? I assume it is an English blend, but there are so many, a little direction might guide us to the right substitute blends. I have GH&Co. Irish X rope cut in my rotation, which is entirely Virginia.

It was at one time but since switching to the Scandinavian Tobacco Group, it's nothing like it used to be.

I bought a tin of Hyde Park last year. It started out delicious. Lots of maple sugar flavor and toasty burley up front. But, by the
midpoint of the bowl it tasted like soap and ash. Not talking GH floral soap. I'm talking dawn dish washing liquid. It's the only tobacco I've ever smoked that I never even tried a second bowl.

A tin I had from 2015 was one of the best smoking mixtures i’ve ever had. Bought a tin last year, smoked one bowl and gave the rest away. It was tasteless. The cut and tobacco had completely changed since GH stopped producing it. I’ve tried some Rum Flake from this year and it was also not as good as that 2015 tin

Maybe people stopped buying it since it started sucking since GH&co. stopped producing it and they are discontinuing it. Hyde Park is one I always wanted to try but I'm so well stocked on GH flakes I gave it a pass. Guess I won't be buying any of it now. Sounds like it's changed. I think I'll go smoke some Ennerdale.
