I remember getting this one off Ebay for $22 in 2005. Why so cheap for a DeLuxe in a desirable shape you ask? It had no stem. :D

This is probably the most comfortable pipe I own. The early 20th century style "overbent" stem, short overall length, the natural hang of a bent bulldog, and a personally fitted-to-my-teeth bite zone width and thickness makes it effortless to smoke. You can see it's been worked hard.
No idea why Peterson kept the same shape number for three significantly different shapes---the thin, medium, and thick shanks also affect the bowl dimensions which in turn affect the overall weight---but Sallynoggin didn't check with me first, so they're on their own if it brings down Western civilization or something. :lol:
