Peterson Deluxe 608S help (pics)

I bought this on ebay last week, I cleaned, polished, got the stem back to black again, but cant not for the life of me find any info about this pipe anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

It says Made In The Republic of Ireland.

Its a great looking pipe, I have smoked it about 5 times and just not liking it so far. Not a fan of the P-lip.

Yeah did not think there was anything rare about it or anything like that. Just like to know about the pipes that I but and I could not find anything anywhere that said Peterson 608S. I am gonna smoke it a few more times, see if I get used to it. Its very lite in my hand. Just not sure if this is going to be a keeper or a trader. The jury is still out.

Good advice, I will do just that. I will give it a month, smoke it a couple of times a week. If after then, stil not liking it, I will go from there.

I like the P-Lips myself, but I have heard of people turning the P-lip upside down and enjoying the pipe much more. That solution works well on a straight pipe, not so much on a bent. ::

I have a few P-Lips and if you happen to have some tongue bite you will like it as the smoke doesnt hit your tongue directly. Give it a fair shake before discarding ot trading.

Not really sure what you're wanting to know. Are you confused about the 608s? Its just a shape they're not currently producing. From your picture it looks like a pot shape with a taller bowl than the currently produced 606 pot. The "s" I've noticed, usually appears on pipes with saddle stems. Im not sure if its a legitimate connection though.
