Peter Stokkebye Golden Dansk (from P&C) - I was in a mood for a fruity aromatic, and this one caught my eye last weekend, so I ordered some.
The aroma of the leaf is nicely fruity with a fairly heavy vanilla character, as is the flavor of the first bowl. By the second bowl, the fruity flavor is a bit more subdued, and the flavors of the tobaccos themselves are more pronounced - also very enjoyable.
It's definitely a top quality tobacco blend, and for lovers of fruity tobaccos, this won't disappoint. But that said, I have to admit that it's somewhat unremarkable. I like it, and it does a good job of satisfying my desire for a fruity aromatic, but there's really nothing that sets it apart from other premium fruity tobaccos.

I tried it, but was not impressed. There is lots of better tobacco out there. But everyone's taste are different.

Thanks for taking the time and effort to write out your observations.

Sometimes it's so frustrating trying to decide whether to buy in the blind.

Guys like me rely on your opinions to decide on blends that aren't on the "front shelf".

Guys like me, too. I have a fairly nice collection of some really superb tobaccos in large part because of discussions in these forums.

Golden Dansk is another favorite of mine. It's more mild than some of my other tobacco. I just buy 1 ounce and try them out. If I enjoy them I'll get a pound and cellar it for later.

It was pretty straightforward with floral smell/taste, like roses. I really enjoyed it, but did feel a little more tongue bite than from most blends. It struck me as a cross-over blend, an English with aromatic properties. It seemed a lot more of an English than it did an aromatic.
