Not because Bob is a personal friend of mine but because his pipes smoke so dry and have some amazing sandblasts I highly recommend any of his pipes. The majority of his shapes are Charatanesque, being that Bob is an expert and long time collector of the Charatan pipe. He also gets some incredible straight grain blocks to work with and really knows how to accentuate the straight grain with different shapes. Congrats on a fine acquisition from a fine pipe maker.

I have his site book marked and check in often, just waiting to see a pipe that fits my size specs and calls to me. I do hope to own one of his pipes one day. He makes some cool looking stuff.
