My baccys arrived the other day from 4noggins, once again, hats off to 4noggins for wonderful customer service and delivery. Just a GREAT place to shop!
So my question is: These baccys come in sealed bags. I still have some Penz. and Stonehaven in jars, Is there any reason why I cannot keep my new order as is, untill I am ready to jar them. I would think they should be ok for a month or 2 in the sealed bags.

nsfisher, yes you should be fine for a month or two and even longer. The biggest problem with those bags is they can develop tiny holes that will allow the tobacco to dry out, but that takes awhile.

Unless the bags are damaged, and leaking, there should be no issue keeping them in the bags. They will not begin the aging process until transferred to jars. But you should be fine waiting until a later time.

Had some Penz in it for about 6-months before opening; just fine indeed..as others have said.if bags are not damaged you are good to go for awhile :puffy:

For a little extra insurance, you can pop the bags into a gallon freezer bag until you are ready to jar them.

But also that bag that was pictured was filled up with water and there were no leaks, so what appeared to be holes in the bag were actually just the outside of the bag that had the vanilla outer color coating missing.
