Back in 2017 I found an unopened tin of Paul Olsen's My Own Blend B93 at an open air antique/flea market near my town. It was a completely random find, placed next to a used pipe stand and a broken lighter. I grabbed the tin for a few dollars and took it home. I opened and jarred it and haven't touched it since.
Today I decided to give it a try. The tobacco is in ready rubbed form and dry... but about as dry as I prefer my tobacco anyway. It smells like tea and tastes like a pungent dark Virginia blend.
I've opened aged tins like this before but have never really enjoyed the smoke. This is good. I have no idea how old this tin is. Maybe 1990s or early 2000s?
I imagined there are some on this forum who used to enjoy this blend, so I thought I would share my experience! A fun pipe tobacco find.
