Our featured interview on tonight's Pipes Magazine Radio Show is with Parks Turner. Brian recently called for pipe smokers under the age of 30 that wanted to be interviewed. Parks is 24-years old, grew up in rural Georgia, and is a third-generation Presbyterian pastor. He recently received his Master of Divinity Degree. Parks was always fascinated with pipes. He would pretend to smoke a corn cob pipe when he was just seven, and started smoking pipes for real when he was 18 years of age. At the top of the show we will have an Ask the Tobacco Blender segment with Jeremy Reeves. Jeremy is the Head Blender at Cornell & Diehl, which is one of the most popular boutique pipe tobacco companies in the USA.

The show airs every Tuesday at 8:00pm eastern US time, and can be found at PipesMagazine.com and all podcast apps.

I feel like Jeremy Reeves shaving his beard should have made national news, as his reverberating bass of a voice must now appear to emerge from the world's wisest twelve year old.

I've been tuning in and catching up with the past episodes for the past 18 months or so. I always either learn something new or learn of a kindred spirit in the hobby...sometimes both. As a man who is certainly old enough to be Parker's father, I immediately found a connection in his love for romancing the days of yesteryear. Of course his yesteryear was my yesterday, but that's what happens when you pass the "half-century" mark.
Keep up the outstanding work Brian. When you ask "book, music, or a movie?"...I would answer that tuning into this show is at the top of the list.
A music choice for the future, that Parker himself my enjoy, tune into some Julie London. Mercy, that lady could sing.
Take care, Darek.

We should have a special small batch blend to commemorate Jeremy Reeves shaving his beard.

I also felt like an older soul which I think lended a hand in me being drawn to pipes.

It was really cool to hear Parker knew what he wanted to be for a long time and pursued it and now he’s beginning the journey with it. I spent a lot of my 20s trying to figure out a career path.

Really enjoying this series!
