So as some of you know I am new to this contemplative pastime. Unfortunately, or fortunately when I get into something I really get into something. The upside I learn and have fun. The downside is $. Anyway, I like doing things with my hands. (insert joke here) I am purchasing 3 unfinished pipes from rnatreasures on the "bay" and am looking forward to making something that is my "own". I am curious however for those that make, refinish, or restore. Is micromesh preferred our is polishing etc with just a dremel sufficient to get the job done right? I don't mind buying micromesh but if a dremel will get it done fine then so be it. They are all rusticated so I don't think it will matter for that part of the project if I just use a dremel. Any edumacation yo can give me is appreciated.
