Well, wasn't an itch, really, but when down in the big city visiting family, stopped into the local B&M. Washington state prices so couldn't go wild, but had quite a stash of MB and Sutliff tins in the store. Several 8oz Maple Shadows, HH Rustica, Dark Twist, Viprati and some other H&H, and a whole lotta SPC stuff. I've been eyes these meers for several years now, so...just had to.

That looks like the Paykoc label.

The poker on the right is up my alley for sure. Wonderful pipes.

thank you! yes the little one is a Paykoc and is hollow under the thin-like-eggshell shell. poker is an SMS and likely sister with the other two SMS lattice's i have, all from the same shop and all been on the shelves there since about 2008 (learned from talking with Beth from SMS a couple years ago).

Yeah no kidding. Really surprised me! More than I've seen with them before so not sure what gives, maybe distributor came by with 'a good deal?' Still extortionate with the washington state 95% tax, before regular sales tax (at the town, 10.4%). A $13 tin anywhere else is pushing $45 in these parts. Cheapest is $28 plus sales tax... i love mail order. (And glad i've already stocked up the cellar so just do not feel the NEED to buy at these prices. This was pure indulgence and B&M support. I am glad they are there! )
