Because SWMBO said we should only buy stocking stuffer gifts for Christmas this year, I agreed, I am getting this pipe from our own zack24, Zachary Hamric Reverse Calabash Snapping Turtle, since she didn't say which stocking we could stuff! :D Thanks Zack.

I think a lot of hearts just broke... mine included lol. But it's good to know that beauty is going to be loved and cherished and hopefully smoked :)

Wow. That's a fantastic pipe. What craftsmanship it must take to produce something of that quality. Amazing work Zack. What a nice collection piece that will be.

Sarasota Florida
fish, great looking pipe. I have seen Zack smoke that model numerous times in the humidity of Florida and he never needed a pipe cleaner for excess moisture. I hope you enjoy the way yours smokes.

What an interesting re-visualization of the fully bent pipe. Flowing and yet sturdy. Some art museum curator

will tumble to this cultural enclave of high concept tobacco pipe carvers, and these will be on display in glass

cases, and hushed art lovers will come and be enlightened. The prices will go through the stratosphere. Am

I pipe dreaming? I'd like to point out that the best funded state art museum in the country, up the street from

me, currently features an exhibit of Porche automobiles, 1930's through the present, the glory of industrial

design. Pipes are not even a minor stretch from that. I have an in with a faculty member with a large privately

funded museum in a major city; I may mention this to that person. Pipe carvers ain't just playing around here.

Congrats fish that is a beauty. I love the contrast stain on the briar. (At least that is what I think is bringing out that wonderful grain pattern.) Fine work Zack.
