will tumble to this cultural enclave of high concept tobacco pipe carvers, and these will be on display in glass
cases, and hushed art lovers will come and be enlightened. The prices will go through the stratosphere. Am
I pipe dreaming? I'd like to point out that the best funded state art museum in the country, up the street from
me, currently features an exhibit of Porche automobiles, 1930's through the present, the glory of industrial
design. Pipes are not even a minor stretch from that. I have an in with a faculty member with a large privately
funded museum in a major city; I may mention this to that person. Pipe carvers ain't just playing around here.
