Just picked up this Bob Hays pipe as an estate, looks like a beauty to me!

He shows pipes at the TAPS pipe show in Raleigh, N.C., in April. Those Rhodesians with

the rusticated and smooth sections are one of his specialties. I've never had quite the

warchest to pick one up, but I always try to comment on what great designs they are.

He really brings the elements together. He did a similar Rhody in a light almost beige

stain that was pretty breathtaking.
