So, got me some PS Bullseye Flake, and got to thinking... I normally rub out flakes because the fold and stuff just won't stay lit worth a trout. But, with Bullseye coins, with their an aromatic centre and all, is there a best way to pack them for optimal enjoyment? Or just rub out and pack?

How do you mates pack your PS Bullseye? ?

Those bullseye centers are a pain in the ass. They refuse to cooperate and frankly don’t add anything. Plus it makes the coins hard to fold and stuff or keep lit. I punch them out too.

Lately I’ve just bought Luxury Navy Flake and Luxury Twist instead and like both of them much better anyway. YMMV.

I do a bastardization of a fold and stuff..... I break and then kinda stuff. This blend really expands when hit with satan’s finger. So I more lay the bowl on its side and then add the long strands in like stacking twigs. I then put the bowl upright and very lightly “pack”. This gives me room to put the “kindling” (crushed flake) on top. I then light and enjoy.

Don’t forget this flake should be thoroughly dried.

The key to LBF for me is drying much more than I originally thought or normally do with flakes/coins, rub out one coin very thoroughly, gravity fill with half the rubbed out coin, fold and stuff the second coin, then top with the other half of the rubbed out coin. It’s tedious but works great for me.

Usually rub out and mix the Cavendish throughout, though I have also taken 2 coins, rubbed the Cavendish centers out into a separate pile, half the VaPer ribbons, Cavendish in the middle, then rest of VaPer on top. Makes for a fun interlude mid-bowl, but then again, I don't like Cavendish in my VaPer

Same here.

Seems to work alright, though I have always felt the Cavendish underwhelmed in terms sweetness. That may be an issue with my expectations, but I think LNF is just a sweeter flake to my palate and I prefer it. But maybe the Bullseye would benefit more from some aging? Hard to beat the value on any of the luxury flakes, and I think they're all at least solid.

I usually pull the jar out, look at them, and the see the jar of LTF right next to them and smoke that instead.

But all three luxury blends I won’t touch until a year in the jar. Those blends benefit more from jar time than maybe anything else ive had (GLP VA based blends maybe come close).

Fresh I find all three underwhelming. But to answer legitimately, I rub them out fully and then dry them by touch like any other flake or coin.

I hope so. I have some LBF jarred. I've only tried it once, and found it very strange tasting...hard to describe, but didn't exactly find it appealing. Plan to try again down the road a way...maybe a long way.
