P&C Perique

Where does P&C Perique come from? It has a nearly identical description to McClelland Perique on SP.C and both say, or at least imply, that they're from St. James Parish in Louisiana.
I'd believe P&C to have true St. James, what with their relationship with Mark Ryan, but their exclusive Golden Triangle series makes a biiiig deal about the tin of St. James being super special, hard to get, etc.
Any info?

There is Acadian Perique and St. James Perique. Here is an older PM article that is very relevant:

All of the bulk Perique we sell is of the Acadian variety. To my knowledge, no one is selling straight St. James Perique in bulk, and all of the companies that we purchase Perique from directly ultimately buy theirs from L.A. Poche, Mark Ryan's company.

P&S perique is as good as any I've used. Acadian,or St. James. I'll continue getting mine from them.
